Allison R. McAlpine

My childhood dream was to become a lawyer.  Then, as now, I wanted to help people who are facing a difficult situation and to make a positive impact on the world.  I hold degrees in Psychology and in Law from Queen’s University.  I became a lawyer in June of 2008 and have been practising family law since that time.  I believe that there is always a solution to any problem and that we are defined most by the struggles we face and adversities we overcome.

It is a humbling experience to practice family law as the impact on a client’s life can be significant.  I do not take lightly the trust that clients have placed in me while we work together to resolve their family law issues.

I strive to practice law with integrity, compassion, reasonableness, creativity and fairness as well as being mindful of the costs that clients are incurring.  I would be honored to work with you.
