As an associate at Epstein Cole, Samantha maintains a diverse family law practice. She regularly handles child custody and access issues, spousal and child support, and property division. Where possible she works diligently to negotiate a resolution for her clients
out-of-court, and regularly prepares separation agreements, cohabitation
agreements and marriage contracts.
Samantha is well-versed in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation. Samantha is committed to the collaborative process. She aims to negotiate collaborative resolutions for all clients to help families move forward with their lives in
healthy and positive ways.

Clients appreciate Samantha’s ability to set realistic expectations as well as her responsiveness
and commitment to their cases. Using her background in psychology and child
development, Samantha is able to identify when you or your loved ones may need
additional support to address the mental and emotional impacts of family
breakdowns.

While now practicing law in Toronto, Samantha grew up in Simcoe County and still has strong ties to the community. She spends many winter weekends and summers with her family in Barrie and Shanty Bay.

Samantha acts as a volunteer lawyer for a number of community legal clinics and is currently completing her LLM with a specialization in Dispute Resolution at Osgoode Hall Law School. Samantha received her certificate in Introductory Interdisciplinary Collaborative Training in February 2021.
